JP Button 2009 Players Survey
JP/EN Discussion / 和英討議 by: Corinth
Does anyone remember the player survey we posted from Michael’s Site? It had a lot of interesting information on Japanese players, how they play, their opinions on the game, and their expectations for the future of FFXI and Rapture.
This time, JP Button is doing its own player survey! Many of the questions are similar to the ones in the Michael’s Site survey so visitors to both sites can make comparisons. There are also some extra questions of interest to Japanese players highlighting some of the differences between the two communities. At the end of the project, the survey results will be posted on JPB and given to the manager of Michael’s Site as well.
This time, we would like to limit the player survey to people who speak English as their native language. Players who speak another language, like French or German, are encouraged to contact communities sites run in those languages and see if they would be willing to do similar projects to make comparisons.
The survey will be up for approximately two weeks. If you have any questions about the project, please feel free to email Corinth or leave a comment to this post.

Hmm I started the survey but realized that there is little red asterisks next to personal questions, yet there is no follow up indicating what the asterisks are for. Any info on that?

The “websites you visit” thing is kinda… er… not websites I visit. Add a “none of these” maybe?

anything marked with a red * is a mandatory question.
There are some questions that don’t have an *. Those are ones where maybe the situation doesn’t apply to you or for people who don’t really have an answer for that question.
