Square Enix has launched a music page featuring a collection of 60 different CDs they plan to have on sale at the Tokyo Game Show. The collected song list spans more than a few Final Fantasy titles, some Dragon Quest, Kingdom Hearts, and several other Square Enix franchises.
Customers will also receive a special “Sampler CD” with songs from upcoming titles such as Final Fantasy XIII and The 4 Warriors of Light: Final Fantasy Gaiden as well as golden oldies like the TGS2007 trailer for Final Fantasy XI Wings of the Goddess.
Square Enix has obliged gamers looking to go green with a free Square Enix Music “Eco Bag” in which to place your merchandise. In Japan, it is common to shop with a reusable tote bag called an “Eco Bag” instead of continually getting paper or plastic bags from the supermarket. It comes from the English word “ecology,” but is pronounced like the echo in “Echo Drops.”

Finally back, home sweet home, in my apartment far far away from busy Tokyo. It’s been an amazing but tiring 3 days. Even so, I am completely pumped for VanaFest!! (Just need tickets…)
Tokyo Game Show falls on a three-day-weekend in Japan. The train station was incredibly crowded, all the lockers were taken, and there was a giant line for the cloak check. Having no alternative, I dragged my suitcase (so many fat chocobos in there) from Tokyo Station to Shinjuku Station and transferred to the Keio New Line which takes you to Hatsudai Station. TGS is over for 2008! To all the staff working at the various SE booths around the center, otsukaresama deshita! There was still plenty of things left for me to see (and take pictures of) today. Even found more hidden FFXI references!
I can’t believe it’s so late! I wanted to get all my thoughts and pictures up earlier but my camera ran out of batteries. Today I wandered around Tokyo Game Show looking for anything and everything related to FFXI (and a bit more).

Today is a General Attendance Day, and many customers are coming to the convention. Sometimes employees draped in yukata will POP and distribute some fans. Tanaka, in his own yukata, will POP sometime today as well. If you spot him, make sure to give a friendly hello. We’re waiting here to see you all. ^^
It’s been a really long day of work and travel but I’m finally in my hotel room near the site of Tokyo Game Show. I even met some other people who are here for the show and needed help reading food labels. Glad to put my education to good use. ^^b
